My wife, Victoria, spontaneously gave away a dollar to a kind, little ol’ homeless man yesterday. She was so thrilled to tell me about it when she got home, because she said, right after her, another man reached into his pocket to give the same man a dollar. As she walked away, she even thought she saw a third person about to do the same.
This must be some of that new math, the Give Away A Dollar A Day kind. Victoria called it a chain reaction. She reached out to this man to give him one dollar, and, as far as she knew, he ended up with three.
Who knows how many more he actually received after she had gone on her way…
