Hi Lane,
Wow... Your post has really stirred me. I think you are right on target! I've had many conversations with my wife about child bearing, and how men would change if we carried and gave birth to new life. I think you're right, we would reach outward more, and would probably give back more. And the possibilities from that are endless!! Thank you Lane, for suchloving insight.
Blessings to you and your family,
Todd

Wonderful to meet you Todd and apologies for being far behind in my emails, however I would like to present my idea of your question in the shortest possible way...In the deepest corner of my heart, I understand there are many `intended` differences between male and female - we both are here to do different things. With males it is deeply ingrained within their psyche that they outwardly present and identify themselves with all the `remain strong - take action and - get the job done`image (which, by the way is just one of the reasons why females are attracted to males) over time, they have learned to remain un-attatched to the emotional outcome in order to achieve the objective. Although women strive to emulate the same but are not as successfull (have you noticed how we females are often labelled as being `too emotional`?) I believe, is to a large degree that of the totally overwhelming connection to the absolute preciousness and miracle of `GIVING` birth, those tears of joy immediately after the delivery of a new life into this world is nothing less than a deep-core spiritual connection with OUR CREATOR and the magnificence of man and woman emulating HIM errr... or HER, lol - Lane (62 yr young Grandmother of Four).

Hey Todd,

I don't think it's that men aren't doing this. My own experience is that a majority of the women that I know seem to be much better about staying in touch with others.

When I started this out, I would write you frequently, but I must admit, I haven't posted anything in a while (I'm a guy, BTW). Those postings were already a bit of a new experience for me. Maybe it's a cultural American thing. I think a lot of guys tend to get this loner kick. This idea that it is better to do things alone. I'm coming out of that thinking, but I must admit, some of the old habits can be difficult to shake sometimes.

Anyway, it may be that plenty of guys are giving away a dollar a day, and are simply not sharing their experiences.
