My new friend, Jenny, wrote to me - “I’m having great fun over here in Ireland. I’ve adapted your Give Away A Dollar A Day to ‘Give Away A Euro A Day‘. I have to say it’s great fun because it’s not as easy or as quiet as dropping one of your dollars, so you have to be that much more sneaky if you don’t want someone to hear you drop it. Because most people will try to hand it back!”
“So I usually place it on my shoe stand at the door at work, and when no one is passing by I gently tap it off my shoe, then I wait to see who gets it. Lots of people walk right by and don’t even see it, which makes me realize that most people don’t see what is right under their nose. Whether it’s there for 2 minutes or 20 though, it always gets found and is always lovely to see the look on the face of the person that finds it. Thanks for opening me up to the joy of doing this.”
