I went to the bank today to make a deposit, and decided that this was where I was going to Give Away A Dollar A Day. So I sat in my car before going in, and said a prayer around this give away.
My give away prayer is whatever I’m drawn to in the moment – sometimes it is for someone in my family, sometimes for a friend or maybe even a stranger in need, and sometimes it is for something that I want to be better at in my life.
Today’s prayer was the later. I prayed for creating… intending… attracting – you could use any of these words – something into my life. Something near and dear to my heart… and my soul.
But I soon discovered that I wasn’t being very trusting, because I was praying for a “miniature” version of it. So I decided to go for it. I didn’t just pray for the moon, I prayed past the moon! I went all the way, pulling out all the stops!
And then I felt it…
I felt the fear, and the doubt, and the uncertainty. Woah, that was too BIG of a prayer. I was asking for too much. And then it really struck me… What I would do with my dollar was put that fear, that doubt into my letting go of it. And when I released my dollar back to Spirit, I also released that doubt.
Now, THAT was cool!
