Men Waking Up

I’m still “high” from staffing the February 2011 New Warrior Training last weekend in Central Texas.

I’m high because I have a ton of hope.

I’ll be honest, I’ve seen the news a bit too much lately, and there’s a part of me that is concerned about the shape the world’s in right now. Particularly with weirdos, like Colonel Gaddafi, running countries who shouldn’t be running countries. This guy just needs to go. His way is old and doesn’t serve anyone anymore. It simply doesn’t work in today’s world.

The men’s weekend that I staffed was all about waking men up to their hearts, and to their missions in life. I saw men get in touch with parts of themselves that they thought no longer existed. Some broke through life long fears, many cried, and we all laughed and grew together in comradery and brotherhood. I came back, after the weekend, with a renewed love for, and wanting to spend more time with my family again.

I have a ton of hope, because these men who challenged themselves to grow and to become better husbands, partners, dads, and leaders, are helping to reshape this world for the better.

All it takes is…

One man at a time…

Blessings,

Todd
