I am attending Pat O’Bryan’s UnSeminar 4 in Austin, TX. Like the name implies, this fantastic event is much, much more than just another seminar - it is a unique collection of like-minded individual with great ideas, and with the added bonus of each of them wanting to really make a positive difference in the world.
One of the events at the UnSeminar was to break out into several Master Mind Groups. These are based on the ideas of Masterminding popularized by Napoleon Hill in Think And Grow Rich. I had a beautiful experience in my team’s first Master Mind Group this morning.
The members of my group asked me, after all of the giving away of dollars that I had been doing over the weeks and months since I began Give Away A Dollar A Day, would I be open to receiving?
Woah!
I paused for a bit to ponder this… Feeling that old familiar hesitation that came from it being easier to give than to receive.
But it was brief… Because I quickly said “Yes”! So they each gave me a dollar! It was great - an awesome exchange for all of us! They prospered through giving and in the pure joy and excitement of the give away, and I prospered equally, right alongside them.
