For quite some time now, I have considered giving away to be an opportunity for me to release and to let go. As I was getting ready to give away my dollar, I would say a prayer for what I wanted to let go of, and then release that right as I was giving away, or “letting go” of my dollar.
Today, I walked down to the mail boxes to put some letters in the post. I had decided I was going to give away my dollar to the postman, and was ready to drop it in the outgoing mail slot.
But as I was walking toward the boxes, I was wondering what it was that I wanted to let go of. I was feeling pretty good at the moment, and it came to me that I didn’t so much want for this give away to hold the energy of letting go - I wanted it to hold the energy of joy and of gratitude for just being alive!
So I started to thank God for the beauty in everything!
I finally reached the drop slot, and guess what was there, waiting to greet me?…
A little ol’ ladybug!
I just had to repeat it - thank you God for everything!!
